We're thrilled you're here to explore our vibrant school community in Needham, Massachusetts. With over 500 enthusiastic students, our school is more than just a place to learn; it's a dynamic and diverse school community dedicated to the success of every student.
The six years from Kindergarten through fifth grade are truly foundational, and our goal is to make these years positive, engaging, and successful for every child. We achieve this by thoughtfully addressing both academic growth and social-emotional well-being. Our commitment is guided by our core values: Work Hard, Be Kind, and Be Safe. We are also incredibly inspired by our namesake, Captain Sunita L. Williams, U.S. Navy, Ret. and NASA Astronaut, whose spirit of exploration and resilience echoes in everything we do.
Our overarching goal is to prepare students to embody the Portrait of a Needham Graduate as:
-
Creative Thinkers and Problem Solvers
-
Communicators and Collaborators
-
Responsible and Resilient Individuals
-
Socially and Culturally Responsive Contributors
-
Empowered Learners
We invite you to explore our website, discover what makes Sunita L. Williams School so special, and see how we empower our students to reach for the stars. If you have any questions, please connect with us.
